My Story

Greg Hahn has been a driving force behind key local initiatives and remains committed
to serving the city with transparency and fiscal responsibility. He has previously served
on the City Council for two years (2017-2021). During his tenure, Hahn chaired the
Real Estate Committee and was a voting member of the Ordinance Committee, Energy
Commission, and Public Works Board. His leadership contributed to meaningful
discussions on property management, sustainability efforts, and infrastructure
improvements. Additionally, his role as council liaison for Bristol’s Commission on Aging
has allowed him to advocate for policies that support senior residents. A longtime
supporter of the arts, Hahn was instrumental in the creation of the Arts and Culture
Commission.
Beyond his public service, Hahn is a Release Train Engineer at Cigna’s Treasury IT
Department, managing complex financial technology projects. He is also an avid
trumpet player, performing with various musical groups across Connecticut. A proud
Bristol native, he and his wife, Sue, have raised two children and have one grandson.
