My Story
Greg Hahn, a dedicated public servant and champion for Bristol’s arts and culture,
has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to the City Council in the First District. A
two-term councilman, Hahn has been a driving force behind key local initiatives and remains
committed to serving the city with transparency and fiscal responsibility.

During his tenure, Hahn has chaired the Real Estate Committee and been a voting member of
the Ordinance Committee, Energy Commission, and Public Works Board. His leadership has
contributed to meaningful discussions on property management, sustainability efforts, and
infrastructure improvements. Additionally, his role as council liaison for Bristol’s Commission on
Aging has allowed him to advocate for policies that support senior residents.
A longtime supporter of the arts, Hahn was instrumental in the creation of the Arts and Culture
Commission, fostering opportunities for local artists and cultural programs. Currently, he serves
as President of the Bristol Arts and Culture Fund, a nonprofit organization that raises private
funds to promote arts initiatives across the city. This year alone, the Fund has provided support
for the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble, the Sports Hall of Fame, and the launch of an annual
jazz event at Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central High Schools.
Beyond his public service, Hahn is a Release Train Engineer at Cigna’s Treasury IT
Department, managing complex financial technology projects. He is also an avid trumpet player,
performing with various musical groups across Connecticut. A proud Bristol native, he and his
wife, Sue, have raised two children and have one grandson.

Hahn’s campaign will focus on community engagement, strategic financial planning, and
enhancing quality of life for Bristol residents. Voters will have the opportunity to learn more
about his vision for Bristol at upcoming community events.
