Nate's Story
Fighting for Bristol. Delivering for Working Families.
Nate Brown is running to represent Bristol and the 78th District in the Connecticut House of Representatives because our community deserves a strong advocate in Hartford—someone focused on lowering costs, protecting taxpayers, strengthening schools, and investing in Bristol's future.
As a candidate, Nate is focused on five priorities that matter to families across Bristol and Plymouth.
Lowering costs for working families. Nate will fight to reduce utility rates, eliminate the vehicle tax, and expand child care tax relief so families can keep more of what they earn.
Protecting taxpayers and fully funding education. Bristol and Plymouth deserve their fair share of state education funding. Nate will work to secure the resources our schools need while protecting local taxpayers from unnecessary financial burdens.
Revitalizing our downtowns. Strong downtowns mean stronger communities. Nate will work to bring state investments home to support infrastructure, small businesses, and responsible redevelopment throughout the district.
Creating pathways to good-paying careers. Connecticut's workforce needs skilled workers, and Nate believes students and residents should have more opportunities to build successful careers close to home. He supports expanding technical schools, vocational programs, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Supporting safe communities. Nate will pursue state funding for critical public safety facilities so communities can make necessary investments without placing the entire financial burden on local property taxpayers.
Nate Brown believes Bristol deserves a representative who will fight for its families, businesses, schools, infrastructure, and future.
He is ready to bring Bristol's priorities to Hartford and work to make Connecticut a more affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.
